Be Mine - Glossybox February 2014

The obvious theme of choice for a February beauty box is of course Valentines Day, and this month Glossybox have presented us with this gorgeous box covered in lipstick kisses and filled with all the products needed to create the flirty feminine Valentines Day look....

Ciate London Paint Pot - The perfect shade for Valentines Day this red nail polish comes from cult brand Ciate so you know you're getting good quality! This retails for £9

Giovanni Eco Chic Cosmetics - This was 3 sachets of various hair treatments including all natural ingredients, such as Moroccan argan oils, avocado & papaya which sounds lovely and nourishing. This is apparently the #1 selling natural haircare brand in the United States so I'm intrigued to test these out. Prices for full sized products start at £7.99

Maybelline New York Big Eyes Mascara - I've been eyeing this up since it's launch as I love the idea of having a bottom lash mascara, and having one built into the end of your ordinary mascara seems like a very practical idea! I've tried this out a couple of times and I do really like it, especially the bottom lash end. It doesn't quite give me the ideal dramatic look on my top lashes, but it's great for daytime wear. This retails for £8.99

Nougat London Sparkling Body Shimmer - When I first opened this box I initially thought I was a bit old for products like this (a little depressing, I know) but the glittery look is something I left behind many years ago. However, I tested it out and was pleasantly surprised. It gives a beautifully soft shimmery look to the skin, not quite as extreme as Edward Cullen but more of a glowing radiance. It would be perfect to apply to the body on a night out or special occasion and it just looks sooooo pretty! It's enriched with Vitamin E so it's good for your skin, and it smells pretty good too! A bottle of this costs £14

NV Chunky Lip Crayon - I do love lip crayons and this one is very pretty. It's a very girly shade, and not something I think suits me very well so I applied this lightly and blended it with my finger for a softer look. Lasting power wasn't great and I probably wouldn't recommend it, but I'm happy to at least be receiving more make-up items in these boxes! This retails for £5

And finally, an extra little treat which was devoured as soon as I had finished photographing the box was this Lindt Lindor Treat Bar - I adore Lindt chocolate and this tasted exactly like the classic Lindor truffles - YUM!

I'm genuienly really pleased with this months box, it contained more beauty items than usual which I love and it had yummy chocolate. Nothing to complain about here! :)

What do you think of this months box? Let me know in the comments below...

  3. This doesn't look like a bad box, Glossy Box haven't really excited me in anyway for months though, so glad I unsubscribed.
