Collection Lasting Gel Colour Nail Polish

I am a bit of a nail polish addict, usually changing the colour of my nails twice a week, and love to experiment with different shades. I have kindly been given the chance to try the new Collection Lasting Gel Colour nail polish, in shade Red Hot 4, and to give my honest and unbiased opinion.

The polish claims to give 'gel-like' shine and has a wide brush for ease of application.

I used a base coat first to protect my nails from staining, then applied the polish. The formula glided on easily and the brush is a nice size, however I did still mess a lot of polish around my nails (but this is inevitable for me with nail polish unless I paint them really slowly and meticulously). As the colour is so intense it only really needed one coat, so this polish is ideal if you are in a rush and don't have time to wait around for the first coat to dry before applying a second. After the application I waited about half an hour then had a shower, where the hot water allowed me to easily peel off the bits around the sides that I had messed.

As you can see the colour is rich and provides a nice shine, and my nails had a very smooth look and feel to them. Overall I am impressed with this polish and would score it 9/10, although I am yet to find out how long it will last before it begins to chip.

Are you a fan of Collection nail polishes? Let me know :)
