Summer Eyes to Suit All Budgets

Now we all love the Summer! I love how with summer make up the eyes are the main focus once those sunnies are off. So I am going to look at my favourite eye products to suit all budgets from bargains to blow outs.

First off let's look at falsies. Now false lashes are one of the best ways to take your lashes from barely there to "WOW"! Now I've got 2 sets of lashes here, both are fantastic, let's have a closer look..

These first one's are Primark's £1 "Natural Look Lashes". Now I know people rave about these and not just over the price. These bargain strip lashes are really easy to wear with a super-light band. The adhesive is also good, it's got staying power. These lashes aren't anything fancy but if you've got short lashes and you just want a bit of a more natural looking lash without breaking the bank then these are the ones for you.

Now if you're one who likes to splash out a little then these next ones are for you. Eylure Katy Perry Lovely Lolita Lashes (£5.95) these are just like all Eylure lashes: lovely, lightweight and they apply like a dream. These are Katy Perry's latest set of lashes, they are lovely. These in particular are my fave, like the Primark ones they have a super-light band which means they feel like your natural lashes. The adhesive in Eylure lashes is always a winner for me!

Now if falsies aren't your thing then here are 2 mascara's that I've been championing these past few months. First of these being Soap & Glory's Thick & Fast Flash Extensions Mascara (£10) now this one is really great to add length and thickness to your lashes. Next is Smashbox Photo Op Eye Brightening Mascara (£18) all I can really say about this mascara is WOW! This has it all for me, it adds length, thickness, curl and definition. It's a bit more expensive but it's definitely worth the extra pennies.

What good are amazing lashes without a set of brows to go with them. Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara (£4.99) is great for a natural thick eyebrow look, it doesn't make your eyebrows too bold but it does make them look fabulous, I think this product would be perfect for a festival look. Another great product is L'Oreal's Brow Artist Super Liner (£5.49) this is great for bold defining brows. One side to be used to pencilling in your shape and colour and the other a wax to keep your brow look in place. This is probably my fave out the 2 because I do love a good brow haha.

Finally let's go on to colours! Now I've been loving eyeshadow pencils, they are really easy to use and just handy to have. I've got these COLLECTION Work The Colour Eyeshadow Pencils (£3.19 each) they come in a good range of colours and I am personally loving this pearlescent pink and denim blue colour. I also have this little Urban Decay Duo in Sin/Mushroom which are great every occasion colours. You can get singles of these colours in Debenhams for £14. Pricey but UD eyeshadows are definitely worth it.

I hope you've enjoyed my first post back after a break and I will be back later on this week with a return of Product of the Week. I would love to see your Summer Eye Looks on our Facebook Page

Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Bargain Polka Dot Bikinis...

Hey guys! Sorry we've been a little on the quiet side recently, we've had some big changes for some of the girls here with new jobs (I fall into this category!), house moves and all sorts happening, but I'm glad to say we'll be back and on a roll bringing you all the things to look out for over summer!

I'm off on holiday for the first two weeks of August, and as a result am desperately looking for summer things to wear whilst I'm away in the sun. I'm normally super organised and have saved gift cards I receive during the year to revamp my summer wardrobe, but this year I've spent them all, so I'm trying to update my wardrobe on a bit of a budget!

When it comes to bikinis, I tend to find they last a year or two and then they need chucking (wangy, see-through, straps breaking etc), and that all happened last year so my swimwear needed to start from scratch!

For the past few years I've been a sole shopper in Accessorize for bikinis, they look great and are brilliant quality, and the fit just seems to work for my pear shape. This year, however, as I've been doing my weekly shop, I've noticed the supermarkets have got some pretty beautiful swimwear, at a fraction of the price of what I would normally pay!

All under £13....which means less than £40 for all 3!!
Meet the first three additions to my bikini family. Lets just take a second here, none of these sets cost more than £13...BARGAIN. From what I've seen so far, George at ASDA and F&F at Tesco seem to have the best choices and selections, I really would recommend popping by to have a nosey next time you go food shopping! I got two of my sets from ASDA and one from Tesco, so I think I'm getting there for my holiday now swimwear wise, maybe I can be tempted my another bikini or two!!

What do you think of these bargain buys? Have you found any must have swimwear recently? Please send me links, I'm such a bikini lover, I'd love to find some more lovely sets for holiday!
