Time taken to complete this make up look: 20mins
Equipment used:
- Foundation Brush
- Blush Brush
- Eyeshadow Soft Brush
- Eye Liner Brush
Base:
Soap and Glory Show Good Face Foundation and Primer
Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer
Benefit Porefessional
Then it's time just to add a little bit of colour to my cheeks and do some highlighting under my eyebrows.
Face Colour:
Nars Blush in Orgasm
Soap and Glory Love at First Blush
Benefit High Beam
Benefit That Gal
Love at First blush was only used lightly all over my face. I use the That Gal on my cheeks to give them a little bit of a pearly prime before I used my love Nars Blush!! The High Beam was used under my eyebrows and on my cheeks to emphasise the pink from the blush.
Brows and Lashes:
Too Faced Nylon Lash System
Soap and Glory Archery Eyebrow Crayon and Tint
Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel
The Nylon Lash System is really good, I probably got the best results out of this one that I have seen other people get out of similar products. The brows are filled in with the Archery Crayon and then gone over with the gel to give them a nice shape.
Eyeliner:
Collection Little Mix Jade's Rock It Liner
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Liner in Flipside
I used the UD liner then went over it with the glitter liner. This is important, the glitter liner is integral in making the eyes just POP.
Lips:
Nars Lipstick in Dolce Vita
This is just to add a little subtle colour to the lips, it's not super pigmented so it's just right for this look.
Now for the best part. The eye make up which I really enjoyed doing!
Eyes:
Soap and Glory Base Shadow
Urban Decay Haight, Money and Uzi Shadow (From the NY Book of Shadows)
I used the base all over my lid and then where I got all technical, in the inner corner I used Haight which is a blue with silver tones and on the outer I used money which is a silvery teal. I then used Uzi on my brow bone and then blended. I then wet my liner brush and made a little wintery pattern (for lack of better word) to add to the theatricality of it.
The look isn't over the top and would look great for over the party season!

I love this look! Big eyes are my fave! We went to see frozen at the weekend and I loved it :)
ReplyDeleteLooks fun & festive!
ReplyDeleteThis looks fab, ooh I haven't seen frozen yet. Can't wait :)
ReplyDeleteI love this look, so sweet! Not seen Frozen but I think that we are going to watch it over Christmas as Emily has been asking me to take her. As an aside, I had my make-up done on Friday - just my eye make-up - it was a bit OTT! Because I don't wear any make up heavy black and fake lashes was a bit too much. I wish I'd have opted for something a bit lighter like this one. But I did just dab and blend away some of the black and it was fine :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty colour! I love Soap and Glory stuff.
ReplyDeleteThe look is amazing. Wish I could pull off bold colors. Dying to see frozen too, just not had the time. On my list.
ReplyDeleteI so need to watch Frozen, the trailer has me in stitches. I wish I was a little more creative when it came to make up.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty wintery colours! I'm taking little miss to see this tomorrow - love Disney!
